Tourette-du-Château – Saint-Antonin (23.866 km)
After RT1 we got our heads down and Bill started to get into his rhythm.
John had got the better of all the navigation equipment and mastered the various clocks, dials and stopwatches and it showed – now 101/287 and an amazing 14th overall in the stage.
The conditions are treacherous though and there is car carnage, however, we’ve kept out of trouble and we’re still running.
Bills engine is pulling strongly and hasn’t missed a beat.
Moved up to the 6th Cooper and amazingly on only the second stage we’re ahead of Rauno AALTONEN.
