The team took advantage of a track day at Lydden Hill to give the Metro another test session as the reconfigured racer continues its development prior to its return to competitive racing. Following the previous test session changes had been made to the braking system and the dry sump oil system. The Metro ran a number of short stints on circuit returning to the paddock for regular checks as the team monitored the revised oil system closely.

As the testing continues the potential of the car becomes clearer, running only half throttle during the tests the Metro proved itself to be a very potent machine. As ever the distinctive shape of the car caught the eye of those watching from the sidelines and there was a continuous stream of interested visitors whenever the car returned to the paddock.

Having completed a successful test session the team will make changes to the car based on the results of the tests with further test sessions being scheduled to assess these amendments. There is currently no date set for the Metros return to competitive action as testing is being slotted in around the teams other commitments – keep checking back for further updates as the project progresses!
