The annual Miniworld Action Day was once again held at the Castle Combe race circuit, the team uses this event to provide “hot laps” for sponsors and raise awareness of the teams adopted charity: The Kent Autistic Trust . After a delayed start to the on track proceedings due to the Autumnal fog shrouding the circuit the action began. The 5 Port Mini was amongst the first cars onto the circuit and was used throughout the day, spending as much time as possible on track only returning to the paddock to swap passengers or take a brief break whilst the slower parade laps were in progress on circuit.
As ever the 5 Port provided some of the most spectacular on track action being consistently amongst the fastest vehicles on the circuit and proving a big draw on its brief forays into the paddock. Throughout the day the 5 port racked up an impressive number of laps and ran faultlessly throughout. The 5 Port will now be readied for its next outing in the BARC Tin Tops series at Lydden on the 4th of October.
