It may be the off season but activity in the workshop continues at a frenetic pace. Along with preparations for the Monte Carlo Historique Rally the race cars have been receiving a touch of TLC in preparation for the upcoming season. Along with work on the Clubman and 5 Port there has been some good progress made with ‘Bessie’ the spaceframe Metro.

The spaceframe has been modified to accept the new Ford Duratec engine and this is now nestling in the front of the car awaiting fitment of the ancillaries. It is hoped that the crowd pleasing giant killer will be ready for testing in the early part of the year before making a welcome return to full time racing.
