On the engine front our works 8 port 1460 engine and gearbox rebuild is now complete and ready to install in Mary Grinhams fabulous space framed mini, the car is due to arrive the beginning of April.

This is the ultimate classic A series race engine with the renouned Arden 8 port cylinder head. This year the engine is running a fully mapped ignition system to further benefit the torque delivery, you can see the crank pickup sensor in the picture. We are getting very good results with this setup and can tailor an 8 port engine from full race to fast road so many more customers can enjoy this classic power unit.

This car has masses of history, being one of the first ever John Maguire space framed minis, this utilised a steel body shell unlike his later versions which had a fibreglass body.

Mary purchased the car in 1987 and Bill Richards Racing has always maintained it.
